Today I decided that UFO’s Zeus XL handle would do better on a razor that was on the heavy side from the start: my Tradere Solid Bar. So off with the Tradere handle and on with the UFO. And it does seem to be a better march, as though this razor were designed for weight.
But first the Vie-Long horsehair brush with Mystic Waters Coconut shaving soap produced a very nice lather indeed. I’ve been neglecting my equine brushes: time to move them up in the rotation.
Three passes with a relatively new Astra Superior Platinum blade, the very last of my Klar Seifen Klassik, and a good start.
My cold is coming along. The Wife very kindly wash the build-up of dishes so I now have a clean slate. I’m still in the “stupid” phase of the cold: thick-headed. The kind of being sick where you not really all that sick so you think you’ll do some reading only to find that reading has become a daunting task.
