The Kent BK4 is a wonderful brush, and its presentation in a red-leatherette cylindrical box with a hinged lid on the side makes it a fine gift if you’re still shopping. I used it this morning with Sweet Gale, a glycerin soap that makes a fine lather that has the fragrance of scotch whisky and heather honey: Drambuie, in effect.
The iKon Shavecraft #101 is one of my very best razors: it always feels totally comfortable, never nicks, and leaves a BBS result. It is also nicely designed: it looks interesting as well as shaving well. Three passes to a trouble-free BBS result.
I often don’t mention the aftershave specifically in the title, since that’s applied after the shave is complete (thus “aftershave”), but Zi’ Peppino is a wonderful aftershave so I thought it deserved a place in the headline. There’s a matching soap, but the aftershave is worth getting for itself.
The weekend is nigh!
