Another Cooper & French soap today, their Rum Runner, which has a light bay rum fragrance. I got the “traditional” rather than “vegan” formula, so this soap includes tallow:
Water, Potassium Stearate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Tallowate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Sodium Tallowate, Glycerin, Fragrance, Sodium Lactate
I would assume that sodium lactate would indicate that milk is a part of the formula, but I don’t know that for sure. In any event, the lather was again quite good.
Since I was using iKon razors with comb guards, I picked the #101 today: perhaps not actually a comb guard on one side (look at the bottom of the baseplate), it nevertheless feels and acts like an open-comb on both sides, and it’s a very comfortable and very efficient razor. It was easy to achieve a trouble-free BBS result.
To continue the bay rum theme but with a little more oomph, I used Karmpert’s Finest, a very nice bay rum aftershave and more moisturizing than is usual for a splash.
