A shave from tubes. I Coloniali is—was—an extremely nice shaving cream, now I believe no longer made. As noted on the label, it’s made with rhubarb, not a common shaving ingredient. My Rooney Victorian, an admirable brush, made a very nice lather quite easily.
The RazoRock Old Type is a marvelous razor: it is noticeably comfortable and smooth shaving and very disinclined to nick, yet it is one of the most efficient razors I own. I quite easily got a perfect BBS result with no even a threat of a nick: no harm done at all.
Hermès Eau d’orange verte is a moisturizing emulsion that makes a fine aftershave balm. Highly recommended.
