The Mühle synthetic is not so close-packed as the Plissoft but still requires a good shake or two before loading. Meißner Tremonia’s Black Beer No. 1 continues with the clay:
Aqua, Stearic Acid, Cocos Nucifera oil*, Glycerin*, Beer, Potassium Hydroxide, Orbignya Oleifera oil*, Sodium Hydroxide, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil, Macadamia terifolia oil, Talc, Red Clay, Cympopogon flexuosus Herb oil, Citric Acid, Simmondsia chinensis oil*, Maris sal, Citral, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool.
* Organic
A new clay today, and another excellent lather. I did check the MT shaving pastes (the two I have), and they don’t contain clay but do contain talc.
I haven’t used my Feather AS-D1 (I got one of the good ones) for a while, but I must bring it out more often: a very comfortable and efficient shave. Plus it looks good (at least to me).
A good splash of Spring-Heeled Jack—I really enjoy this aftershave—and I’m ready for the weekend.
Something to note: Chuck Falzone has a good list of shaving resources at his ShaveHQ site. Full disclosure: My Guide and my SOTD posts are listed, but there are quite a few other resources, so definitely worth a look.
