I finally broke down and ordered Meißner Tremonia Dark Limes shaving soap (with label in German—”limetten” means “lime”). As usual, Meißner Tremonia includes clay in the formulation—this time black clay:
Stearic Acid, Cocos nucifera oil*, Aqua, Potassium Hydroxide, Lime juice, Orbignya Oleifera oil*, Sodium Hydroxide, Butyrospermum parkii*, Glycerin*, Citrus Aurantium Leaf oil, Talc, Citric Acid, Litsea Cubeba oil, Black clay, Maris sal, Citrus aurantifolia oil, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, Geraniol, C.I. 77268:1.
* Organic
Presumably the black clay is the reason for the black puck. The puck is stamped, as shown, but is not wrapped. And it makes a fine and lime-scented lather.
Three passes with the 102, but I now will replace the blade. I got a perfectly smooth result, but had to work at it a bit.
A splash of Geo. F. Trumper West Indian Extract of Limes aftershave finished the shave.
And then I reworked my diet-advice post, adding some new information.
