LA Shaving Soap Company’s Vanilla/Eucalyptus/Mint has a wonderful fragrance, as special as the fragrance of Nancy Boy shaving cream but with a different palette, as it were. The lather, too, is excellent, and the WSP Prince made a very nice lather. LASSC not only makes a fine soap but its proprietor has helped other soapmakers.
The iKon 102 slant continues to be a favorite, and three passes left a perfectly smooth face to receive a good splash of Stirling’s Lemon Chill aftershave splash. “Chill” means “menthol,” of course, but the menthol hit was a delayed reaction. Still, the chill did arrive, and the lemon fragrance is distinct: quite a good aftershave.
