Aussie Eddie mentioned that Otoko Organics shaving “soap” had been not seen for a while, so I used it this morning and will thank him publicly for the reminder: it’s a lather source I like a lot, from its clean fragrance (pear, I think) to its wonderful lathering and interesting formulation—and, certainly least, to the excellent shave it supports. I used my Simpson Emperor 2 Best, which seemed just right: not too large, not too small, and excellent lather capacity.
Three passes with my trusty Dorco PL602 removed every trace of stubble, and a good splash of Anthony Gold’s Red Cedar aftershave seems to suit the season and the day. The daily shave: a daily pleasure.
