Man, I do love the CK-6 soap formulation from Phoenix Artisan, and this tub of Cavendish is a CK-6 soap. The lather, created today with the help of my RazoRock Keyhole synthetic brush—a wonderful little brush at a modest price—was outstanding. And I do like the Cavendish fragrance: very definitely a pipe tobacco fragrance, not a cigar fragrance.
Antonio de España recently stepped up to the ranks of DE shavers, and he commented that he likes the Edwin Jagger head, as do I. So in his honor I am using my Edwin Jagger this morning, and I like this particular model, with the fluted black-rubber handle, quite a bit. And it did a wonderful job: totally smooth result in three passes.
A good splash of Tabac fiinished the job. Tabac, despite its name, has less tobacco fragrance than the Cavendish aftershave, but in Antonio’s honor I wanted use at least one thing from the EU, and Tabac comes from Germany.
Altogether a fine way to begin the morning.
