This morning I continue with the retrying of razors best for those who are prone to nicks and razor burn. But before the razor comes the prep.
I like Phoenix Artisan’s CK-6 formula, and Planet Java Hive’s pairing of the fragrances of coffee and honey is delightful—as was the lather, readily awakened by my Mühle synthetic brush.
The Dorco PL602 is a wonderful razor, and since it’s made of plastic, it’s light in weight, which may encourage less pressure of the razor’s head against the face (and thus reduce the risk of razor burn). However, I suspect that the head design will be even more helpful in that regard. Certainly this is a razor worth trying, IMO, and a great razor for travel.
Three passes produced a totally smooth face with no nicks and no razor burn. A splash of Planet Java Hive aftershave, and I stand poised for the day.
