Per request, a direct comparison of the RazoRock Mamba (on the left, wearing halo handle trunks) and the RazoRock Game Changer .68-P (on the right, also wearing halo handle trunks).
First, the pre-bout prep. Tallow + Steel’s Grog is a very interesting take on Bay Rum and I hope it will return with the Fall season. The lather, made with my little Whipped Dog silvertip (set at standard depth), was excellent.
The match begins. Let me note that after yesterday’s shave, in which I had to work a bit with the Game Changer to get a smooth shave, I changed the blade. (I just got a batch of Gillette 7 O’Clock SharpEdge blades (yellow pack), and I used one of those.) The new blade fixed the minor issue.
I used Game Changer on the right side of my face, Mamba on the left. Both did a very satisfactory job. I found the Mamba more comfortable, with the Game Changer having more blade feel. The Mamba felt as smooth as silk, and it seemed to remove the stubble equally well.
A splash of Grog finished the job, and the weekend is launched. And for those following my health progress after the change to a whole-food plant-based diet, my fasting blood glucose this morning was a new low of 5.3 mmol/L. You can go as high as 5.5 mmol/L and still be in the normal range, so I would say that this is working well. I’ll post a recipe later this morning.
