I highly recommend this brush, and the fact that it comes with two knots is an interesting enhancement. One knot is silvertip badger, the other (pictured here) is a very appealing synthetic. It made a fine lather from Van Yulay’s Achilles shaving soap. I like this shaving soap a lot, and in fact the picture combination is what I’m taking on my trip to visit The Son and his family, except that I’ll take my RazoRock Baby Smooth (in blue) as the razor.
The Lupo is quite a good razor nonetheless, and in three passes it left my face totally smooth. A good splash of Achilles aftershave finished the job.
I’ll leave Thursday and not return until Tuesday, so for a few days there’ll be no posts. I’m thinking right now that I’m not taking my computer. (Cross the border with a computer is now somewhat iffy.)
