Skipping a day of changing blades, I went with the blade already residing in this excellent razor, whose coloration makes it particularly useful for shaving concealed in a jungle.
The brush matches, and that synthetic knot is really nice. JabonMan’s Rosa Bourbon is a fine soap, and the lather this morning seemed exceptional in both fragrance and consistency.
The razor is really excellent: extremely comfortable, extremely efficient, with a nice heft from its brass construction. The double-open-comb design is a nice touch. It delivered a terrific shave, and D.R. Harris’s After Shaving Milk was nice finish: a rose fragrance to match the soap and a very nice effect on the skin.
A good way to start the day, which—alas—looks to be as dreary as yesterday. But my heart glows because my shave was good.
