The lather this morning was especially rich and creamy and thick, doubtless because I took a little more time in loading the brush (though certainly the quality of the shaving soap was also important). I positioned the iKon 101 so you could see clearly the different structure of the two sides that in action they feel and perform the same — and that feel and that performance are both top-notch. The result after three passes was total smoothness, and the hint of menthol in the Floïd gave a hint of wintry chill, offset by the warmth of the fragrance.
Altogether a totally fine Christmas Eve shave.
