I have to say that a soft, fluffy brush is quite pleasing to me: such a brush makes lather easily and quickly, holds an enormous quantity of lather, and feels good on the face as the lather is applied. This snakewood-handled silvertip badger brush from Strop Shoppe is excellent in that regard, and the lather I made from Strop Shoppe’s Black Tie with Tallow Special Edition was totally wonderful.
The Maggard razor did a superb job—totally BBS, no nicks—due in part to the newish Super Max Titanium blade it carried. That is turning out to be quite a good blade for me.
A splash of Musgo Real, and the day begins.
