My only use of tobacco anymore is as a fragrance, though I suppose if I had a garden it would find a use i solution as an insecticide. Back in the day I did smoke — cigarettes, pipe, and cigars — and it’s odd how alien that seems to me now. What was I thinking?
At any rate, tobacco is the theme today, starting with Wholly Kaw’s excellent Merchant of Tobacco. WK soaps are very nice — good fragrances and excellent performance — and my Rooney Style 3 Size 1 easily produced a thick, fragrant, warm lather.
iKon’s Open Comb is among the best I’ve used. He got this right early on and has continued it to this day, though now the head is coated. Three comfortable passes, with not even the threat of a nick, left my face perfectly smooth and ready for a good splash of Tabac (with a couple of squirts of Hydrating Gel).
All is well, with a mug of Murchie’s Anniversary Blend beside me.
