The Dead Sea is a soap that truly enjoys a brush that’s almost dry, so I shook this RazoRock Italian-flag synthetic extremely well. As I loaded, I did once add a small driblet of water, and once my face was covered with lather, I worked in a little more water, but this soap — which smells wonderful — doesn’t need much at all.
Another slant today, the RazoRock German 37, whose head is a clone of the Merkur 37 but uses a three-piece design so I can swap handles if I want (an advantage, IMO). Slants deliver a very smooth shave, and my face this morning feels as though I had shaved a two-day stubble.
A splash of Chiseled Face’s Ghost Town Barber, with a squirt of Hydrating Gel, and the day is launched — rather late, but I’ve been busy.
