Using PA’s CK-6 formula this morning immediately, in the Love Bombs fragrance after using their Kokum Butter formula yesterday allowed me to experience clearly the noticeable difference in the two soaps, with CK-6’s lather being markedly superior. RazoRock;s Keyhole brush, a brush I like a lot, did an excellent job.
Kokum Butter formula:
Potassium Stearate, Glycerin, Potassium Cocoate, Aqua, Potassium Kokumate, Sodium Lactate, Potassium Shea Butterate, Potassium Castorate, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Cocoa Butterate, Potassium Avocadoate, Parfum [Fragrance]
CK-6 formula:
Potassium Stearate, Glycerin, Potassium Cocoate, Aqua, Potassium Kokumate, Sodium Lactate, Potassium Shea Butterate, Potassium Castorate, Sodium Stearate, Potassium Cocoa Butterate, Potassium Avocadoate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Theobroma Grandiflorum (Capuaçu) Butter, Astrocaryum (Murumuru) Seed Butter, Platonia Insignis (Bacuri) Seed Butter, Parfum [Fragrance]
The difference, while not night and day (the Kokum Butter formula makes an excellent shaving soap), is still quite noticeable, in favor of CK-6. And I notice that most of PA’s soaps are now available in the CK-6 formula.
I have had a tendency, which I’m now overcoming, to underrate the Edwin Jagger head, here mounted on the stainless steel UFO handle by RazoRock. It has a confident feel — not aggressive, but totally comfortable, but also readily and easily erasing stubble. Three passes left my face extremely smooth and, thanks, to the CK-6 soap, remarkably refreshed.
A splash of Love Bombs aftershave to carry forward the fragrance — “Dark Chocolate, Rose, Rosewood, Bergamot, Tea, Orange, Lemon, Black Pepper, Ginger, Palo Santo, Vetiver, Cedar, Tobacco & Rose Absolute.”
Good start to the day.
