Really wonderful shave today with BBS result and no nicks, using the long-toothed Gillette NEW introduced in 1931.
I generally don’t use a boar brush with a shave stick because badger, horsehair, and synthetics have greater capacity, but the Omega brush shown is well broken in and I thought I’d give it a go. I did wet the knot well before my shower, and then used QED’s wonderful Mocha Java shave stick on my beard. The brush quickly raised a good lather and provided plenty of lather for three passes with no renewal required, though I admit that the lather was less abundant in the last pass, though I still had plenty.
A splash of Alpa 378 and the mid-week day begins.
