Another Grooming Dept Mallard-formula soap, but again the older formula. My Rooney Style 3 Size 1 made a very fine lather, and the Yaqi Tile razor head on a RazoRock stainless handle did a first-rate job. This is an excellent razor, with a design reminiscent of (and possibly copied from) the Henson Shaving razor head. Three passes did the job.
A tiny squirt of Hermès Eau d’orange verte moisturizing cream worked well as an aftershave balm.
The tea this morning is Mariage Frères Bangkok in Love, and today I remember that it’s an oolong and steeped at at the right temperature (around 180ºF).
