Extremely nice shave today. The Semogue brush is coming along nicely, and I’m excited. This is the first Semogue brush I’ve had that isn’t wretched. While it’s no Omega, it still does a good job. And HTGAM soaps are wonderful, though I wish sometimes the fragrance were a bit stronger. Still Gondolier smells good, and the Stealth continues to impress me. Today I noticed again how good the handle is in practice.
Three passes, and then a splash of the new Lemon Chill (mentholated, naturally: “chill” usually means mentholated) by Stirling. I’ve noticed that Stirling, like Fine, includes no glycerin in the formulation. I’m going to have to experiment with adding just a little to see the effect.
A good start to the day, and I cooked another baking sheet full of bacon. I’ve found a good bacon source, too: Nob Hill has excellent quality bacon from their butcher shop.
