A very fine and fragrant shave today. The soap, which produced an instant good lather, is Essence of Scotland’s Sweet Gale. Ingredients include “Bog Myrtle, Natural honey, Mixed spices, Cedarwood, Beeswax and Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky.” And the scotch and honey are quite noticeable in the fragrance.
The brush is a Whipped Dog silvertip, 22mm knot size, set at the regular depth (to provide a fluffier brush that’s softer on the face and with a greater lather capacity a deep-set knot).
Three passes with the Eros slant and I have as smooth a result as I could want. A good splash of Stirling Vetiver, and the day begins.
