Another good lather from a Stirling soap, though it had faded by the third pass. I did take care to load the brush at length, so I’m not sure why the lather faded. Badger brushes seem to work better for me with this soap. Next up will be a horsehair shaving brush. Note the poor label quality, a common weakness in artisanal soaps. It’s really too bad: within a few more shaves the label will be completely illegible. I can make a label for the jar, but I hope that waterproof labels become more popular.
The British Aristocrat did a very fine job, as the final BBS result proves. And a splash of Fine’s Clean Vetiver finished the shave.
