Very smooth result, but as noted it was not so comfortable as I like.
But first, the lather. I have perfected my Stirling soap lathering technique, and I got a really excellent lather with no effort: two driblets of water added to the brush as I loaded it, and loads of lovely lather resulted. The Barbershop fragrance is quite pleasant, and I continue to like my Omega S-series brush.
The Lutz just doesn’t feel comfortable to me, but it certainly did a good job. It’s possible that the Personna Lab Blue is not the best blade for this razor, though, so I’ll do some blade exploration to see whether I can improve the comfort.
