The Gillette looks like a Sheraton except that it’s not an open-comb razor. Maybe the Sheraton came in two models: bar guard and open comb.
At any rate the lather was exquisite, both in texture and fragrance, than to my Wet Shaving Products Monarch HMW brush and the Lenthéric shaving soap. Oddly, though, The Wife got very little of the fragrance when she sniffed the soap, whereas it bowled me over from two feet away when I opened the tub. I assume it has components to which my nose is more sensitive than hers—certainly the same thing happens in colors (blue simply leaps out at me, who am somewhat colorblind), and probably it happens with taste as well: different people can have different profiles of sensitivities—or, as we usually say YMMV. But for me the soap is quite fragrance and smells like an expensive perfume.
Three passes with the Gillette holding a Super Max Titanium blade, resulting in a BBS result. A good splash of Speick, and the weekend is almost upon us.
