Extremely fine shave today. The Omega brush shown is the only boar brush I’ve tried that I would say is actually soft in the way that a fluffy badger knot is (only not quite to that degree). I got a very fine lather of the honey-fragranced Bee-Witched shaving soap, and the British Gillette Aristocraft shown delivered a BBS result with no problems or real effort. I think this will be the next client for RazorPlate.com from my stable: the cap in particular needs attention. But for this one I think I’ll go with plain gold rather than rose gold, though the rose gold did look attractive. But I want this one to match its bar-guard brother.
A good splash of l’Occitane Cade finished the job.
