Another very good lather, this time from The Holy Black’s Sandalwood Smoke, made with a very nice little Vie-Long horsehair brush shown.
The iKon S3S has much the same head design as the iKon 2-piece H2O I used yesterday, but it feels even more massive. Yet it has a curiously gentle touch, while being highly efficient: definitely very comfortable and very efficient. Three passes to a BBS result.
The aftershave today is a splash rather than a lotion, and the Gunpowder Spice fragrance is indeed pleasant and interesting—I can see why so many on Wicked Edge mention liking it. I probably should have purchased a puck in the same fragrance, but since the puck’s fragrance is fleeting while the aftershave’s lasts longer, I think the choices I made are workable.
I still hadn’t heard of final proof approval, and I should have heard yesterday. So I checked: I forgot to submit the file (by clicking the “submit” button). Now it’s done.
