In the past, I would from time to time be surprised by a particularly good lather: thick, creamy, beard-hugging. “Wow!” I’d think, “What a great lather!” and then I’d check and almost always I was using a D.R. Harris shaving soap. This morning I used a D.R. Harris shave stick (Lavender) and had that same reaction. Really a superb lather, using the beechwood handled Omega S-Brush. Then three passes with the #102 and a fine BBS result.
Great way to start a vacation day. (I remember back when the idea of a vacation included not having to shave. That was a sign right there that something was wrong with my shaving regimen.)
