Comparing Stealths with Meißner Tremonia Indian Flavour

I’m continuing the paring down of the collection, and my attention is drawn to duplicates. I have two Stealth razors, one aluminum alloy, one stainless steel. Perhaps I should sell one, but which. So today I shaved with the two.

Prep was first, of course, and the Fine Classic brush did a fine job making a terrific lather from Meißner Tremonia’s Indian Flavour shaving soap:

Stearic Acid, Cocos nucifera oil*, Aqua, Potassium Hydroxide, Orbignya Oleifera oil*, Sodium Hydroxide, Macadamia terifolia oil, Glycerin*, Cymbopogon FLexuosus Herb oil, Citric Acid, Coriandrum sativum oil, Talc, Simmondsia chinensis oil*, Maris sal, Mentha Piperita oil, Yellow clay, Red clay, Bixa Orellana, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool.

* Bio – Qualität

The lather had a slight menthol-like coolness, which I imagine comes from the Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) oil. Even though the soap contains clay (Yellow and Red), no additional water was needed in loading the brush. This lather has a wonderful fragrance. Recommended, as a soap or shaving paste.

The shave went very well indeed. The weight of the two Stealths differ, but it was hard to decide which I liked better. However, I do have the little stand for the stainless Stealth, so perhaps that’s the one that I’ll sell.

I applied Phoenix Artisan’s Alt-Eleven balm to a BBS face. I really do like the fragrance, and the balm aspects are good as well. I’m still inclined to buy the splash…
