I used the Vie-Long horsehair brush shown, which today I noticed has the same pleasant coarse feel that as the Plisson European Grey. The lather it made from the Tcheon Fung Sing was unusually pleasant. It had the tobacco verde fragrance that is so pleasant, but its thick consistency and slickness gave it a feel that I immediately perceived as “buttery.”
And it did an excellent prep: the iKon 102 glided easily across my face, leaving smoothness in its wake: three passes to perfection, with nary a nick.
A good splash of RazoRock’s Zi’ Peppino and the week is well begun.
