The Drunken Goat and the Rockwell Model T

I decided to use my Omega 21762 again. I wrote in a previous post that I found that the best action in using this (very soft) brush was “painting” rather than “brushing,” but I realize now that the distinction is not clear since, after all, painting does consist of brushing—but painting is brushing with light pressure, whereas brushing (as when you brush a horse) can be done vigorously and with more pressure. Perhaps I should simply have written that with this brush you must use very light pressure since the brush is soft: usiing heavy pressure will simply crush the brush against your face.

I loaded the brush well from Mickey Lee’s The Drunken Goat shaving soap, and I notice the tub is down quite a bit—this is one tub I might actually finish.

The Model T looks large in person and feels large in the hand, but it does a good job and is nimble. Three passes, a tiny nick on my chin (MNIS did a fine job, as usual), and I had a perfectly smooth face for the splash of The Drunken Goat aftershave.
