My Planet Java Hive is Phoenix Artisan’s CK-6 formula, a wonderful soap, and the coffee + honey fragrance is quite pleasant in the morning. PA’s Starcraft shaving brush made an excellent lather, and I really enjoyed using my Baili BR171.
This razor always surprises me by the quality of its feel (in the hand and on the face) and the comfort and efficiency of its shave, even when I try to allow for the surprise. And it’s currently on sale for $4. At that price, you might even want to pick up a few for friends who express an interest in DE shaving since it is an excellent razor for a novice (because of its quality and the quality of the shave and shave experience it provides. It’s exceptionally comfortable and efficient.
A splash of Planet Java Hive aftershave with a squirt of Hydrating Gel finished the shave. My face is as smooth as after a Monday shave.
