Doppelgänger and the Pro 48

I do love the Omega Pro 48 (10048) — makes a fine lather, has great capacity, feels good on the face, and is inexpensive ($17). Of course, you can get a very good synthetic brush for $10, but natural bristle does have its charms. And the lather today was superb, the soap being a Phoenix Artisan CK-6 formula.

The razor an Above the Tie R1, and the result was a totally smooth finish. A splash of the matching aftershave with the final squirt from my little bottle of Grooming Dept Hydrating Gel provided a pleasant finish to the shave. (I’ve now ordered a replacement bottle of the Hydrating Gel. I do like using it with an aftershave splash.)
