The Dead Sea and a fine slant = a wonderful shave

A shaving brush with a black synthetic knot and clear lucite handle next to a tub of The Dead Sea shaving soap, whose label is a photo of the shoreline of the Dead Sea, dark blue in the distane light green near the sandy, rocky shore on which scattered green plants grow. Next is a bottle of Diplomat aftershave — rectangular sglas with an enormous black rectangular cap. In font is a gold-plated slant razor with a twisted spiral handle.

The Dead Sea is an excellent shaving soap — a soap that lathers readily (and requires a brush barely damp) and has a clean refreshing fragrance. With Lo Storto, Fatip’s fine slant, removing stubble was a pleasant breeze, and a splash of Diplomat, from the Czech Republic, finished the job.

The tea this morning is Murchie’s Ceylon Kenilworth: “Ceylon Kenilworth Tea is a bright and oaky Orange Pekoe, with body and strength. The Kenilworth Estate is known for producing creamy teas with rich, full body.”
