Chiseled Face’s Sherlock made an excellent lather today, thanks in part to Phoenix Artisan’s Astreus brush with its 22mm knot.
Three passes with the Edwin Jagger razor shown produced a perfectly smooth face, and a splash of Sherlock aftershave, augmented with a couple of squirts of Grooming Dept’s Aion Hydrating Gel, finished the job. Although this aftershave does contain menthol, the amount is moderate and not unpleasant.
The tea this morning is my own blend: equal parts of Murchie’s Assam Tippy Golden, Ceylon Kenilworth, and Keemun Extra Superior. “It’s a fine cuppa.”
