
The Antica Barbieria bleached boar brush is coming along, breaking in nicely. It easily made an excellent lather from Grooming Dept Sandalwood Nobile, a Kairos formula shaving soap. The Kairos formula is a beef tallow soap but with quite a bit more, as you can see at the link.
My Feather AS-D1 razor quite comfortably removed every trace of stubble, though it required some extra attention, which indicates to me that a new blade is in order. Still, after three passes and a little extra attention, my face is perfectly smooth.
A splash of Saint Charles Shave Sandalwood finished the shave, and today this aftershave seemed especially good in fragrance and feel. The company is no more, however, the proprietor having passed away a few years back.
