An expected BBS shave by virtue of a two-day stubble and a slant. I decided to risk a shave stick with a boar brush because my Pro 48 held tons of lather when I used it previously. It was touch-and-go—the third-pass lather was fairly thin, but Ogallala makes a particularly slick and pleasant lather, so the final pass was good, too.
I began with MR GLO, of course, the rubbed the stick well over my beard. The soaked and wet Pro 48 did a good job working up the lather, and I spent some time making sure there was plenty of good lather both on my beard and in the brush.
The Fasan is a slightly more extreme slant than the Merkur bakelite slant that Italian Barber sold for a while, but I’m getting a feel for it. The Trig blade did a good job and by the third pass the result was complete BBS with no nicks or burn.
I used a generous splash of New York aftershave, and I do feel on top of the developing day.
