Based on my experience with this razor and with the Los Angeles Shaving Soap Company’s BBS-1 (also made by Wolfman), I rate his razors absolutely top-notch. I do like my Above the Tie R1 razor, but the Wolfman razor in the photo is more comfortable and equally efficient (at least). Plus the handle is intriguing and the polished finish is superb.
But let’s start at the beginning. Wholly Kaw’s Vetililac shaving soap (I had not realized that the lid covered the soap name) had a very pleasant fragrance and made a fine lather with the Omega S-Series brush shown.
The razor, as noted, was a pleasure to use: three passes and a BBS result in absolute comfort.
A good splash of La Toja, and the weekend gets underway.
I’m going to cook this recipe (in the oven), using the suggested dry rub. The ground coffee in the rub works very well.
