A very smooth shave today. Italian Stallion is a great fragrance, and Mr Pomp did a fine job creating a good lather. The Sheraton, plated in rose gold by RazorPlate.com, looks stunning and shaves quite well, in this case with a Personna Lab Blue blade. Three passes to a BBS result, and then a small amount of Mickey Lee Soapworks Italian Stallion aftershave milk: a fine shave for May Day.

He takes the razor back to polished brass, then plates it with nickel, and then plates that with the rose gold (or rhodium or whatever). The plating is thus very solid and wears well.
